19 year-old musician ‘Rema’ has been earmarked for great success in 2020 by the BBC UK.

Rema Makes BBC's List of Big Artists to Watch Out for in 2020

The Nigerian star, who had won the Headies ‘Next Rated Award’ in 2019, kicked off this year with a spot on the prestigious BBC 1Xtra Big Artists to Watch Out for in 2020 list.

Rema has been raking in awards and recognition worldwide since he started his career, just recently his debut single “Iron Man” was included in Obama’s annual summer playlist, which lists 44 tracks that they love.

In October 2019, Rema won Next Rated and was nominated for Viewer’s Choice at the 13th edition of The Headies. He also won his first award of the New decade in the just concluded Soundvity MVP where he won the award for best new artist.

The BBC list of Big Artists to Watch Out for in 2020 includes 15 artists from around the world who are tipped for great success this year.
