Good news for those who have been looking for an excuse to not stop drinking… A newly published study shows that people who drink alcoholic drinks regularly are less likely to die prematurely than people who steer clear from drinking alcohol.

The researchwhich was published in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research and led by Charles Holahan, focused on individuals between the ages of 55 and 65, and studied it over a period of 20 years – including complex variables ranging from the situation Socio-economic level to the level of physical activity of the subjects.
