A wildlife official is facing calls to resign after he shared photographs of him posing with dead animals on a hunting trip in southern Africa and boasting about how he killed a “whole family of baboons.”
Blake Fischer, Idaho Fish and Game commissioner, emailed friends and colleagues photos of him stood next to more than a dozen animals, including a giraffe, leopard and a sable antelope. He had taken the photos during a hunting trip with his wife in Namibia.

A young man did an unbelievable thing as he left the bankers, and customers of UniCredit Apenkwa branch in the Accra Metropolitan assembly with mouths gaping when he showed up at the bank with his mattress, pillow, bedsheet, and other personal belongings to comfortably sleep inside the banking hall.
The young man claims he has a savings bank account with the UniCredit Apenkwa branch and he has been to the bank multiple times to withdraw his money but he kept getting the response:
“the service is down”.

A new artery has opened up in the heart of East African trade connecting the Ugandan capital Kampala with the port of Mombasa in Kenya. It comes in the shape of a 525 metre bridge across the Nile that was opened officially by Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni. Business leaders in Kampala say it will transform trade in East Africa.
7, Six Tanzanian schoolchildren killed in lightning strike
At least six children were killed and 25 injured Wednesday when lightning struck a primary school in northern Tanzania, a local government official said.
The lightning hit Emaco Vision Primary School, in the mountainous Geita region, during the morning.
“It was about 9am, six pupils were killed and 25 were injured,” said regional education coordinator Yese Kanyuma.

9. Boko Haram faction kills second aid worker in Nigeria
An aid worker with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has been killed in Nigeria by Islamist militants who kidnapped her last March.
Hauwa Liman, a midwife, was killed days after kidnappers set a deadline.
The ICRC said it was devastated by the news. The Nigerian government called the murder “inhuman and ungodly”.

Lucky Dube was killed in an attempted carjacking in Rosettenville, Johannesburg on the 18 October 2007.
He was shot and killed in his car in front of his teenage kids. He was only 43 years old.
Here’s another interesting fact about Lucky dube, the three people responsible for his death were caught and jailed for life. When asked why they did what they did, the criminals who killed him said They thought he was a Nigerian.
