10. Tandi

This popular fruit-flavored drink owned by Nigeria’s former finance minister Aminu saleh ruled Nigeria back in the early 2000 mainly because of its affordability, i think back then it was sold for 10 naira.

9. Okin biscuit


Popular known for its not too sugary taste. Okin biscuit was our parents favourite.

8. Kiddy milk


Popularly known for its see through plastic cans with drawings of animals on its nylon, kiddy came in two flavors:milk, chocolate. With a little disposable spoon for digging in. Growing up, i always had one in my bag whenever I was going to school

7. Coconut cookie


This used to be the king of biscuits then for kids and teenagers. Sadly it has gone into extinction.

6. Yale pepper snack

Well known for its peppery taste. This biscuit was not that popular with children back in the days but it was still nice though. Just like coconut biscuit, this too has gone into extinction.

5. Goldspot

Known for its sugary taste, gold spot once ruled Nigeria alongside its brother Limca. I heard they can still be found in some parts of Nigeria but I don’t know how true it is, as the last time I saw it was back in 2007.

4. Milk maid cookies

Well known for its milky taste, milk maid was Very popular among kids. I really flexed it when I was little.

3. Robo choc milk chocolate


This use to be the Most popular chocolate candy during the late 90s and early 2000s.

2. Gsm phone drink


The infamous sugary gsm drink was every kids favourite back in the days. It came in orange, lemon and i think cola cant remember.

1. Mr goody goody


“Goody-Goody, so Goody goody so Chewy chewy”.

This soft and chewy chocolate used to be very famous until cadbury stopped its production
